Hopetoun fishery is set in one and a half acres of picturesque, mature woodland on the
Hopetoun Estate near Winchburgh, West lothian.

The loch is stocked on a continuous daily top-up basis, with rainbow trout ranging between two pound and double figures.
Due to the steeply wooded banks and  great depth of water this is ideal for both the bait and fly angler. Popular baits include maggot. worm, wasp grub, power bait and sweetcorn. Poular fly pattern are damsels, sedges, dancers &  daddies.

sometimes in shoals of one hundred plus fish, taking flies from the surface
There is easy access for disabled anglers; open 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.
