Ballo (Reservoir)Trout Fishery is situated in a dip in the picturesque setting of the Lomond Hills. This well sheltered site offers a fine opportunity for both fly and bait fishing, with plenty of marks along the bank to enjoy a worthwhile fishing experience. 176 acres of prime water, with rainbows, to go with the vast amount of wild brown trout.
There is also the option of hiring a boat to lure that elusive catch on the water.
Surrounded by varied of flora and fauna with which to encourage a variety of insects and nymphs for the fish to feed upon, there is wide scope for the anglers choice of fly with which to tempt the trout to engage in that worthy fight that leasd to a successful fish catch.
